Description

This detached vacation home is located on the Belgian-Luxembourg border, in the beautiful Our river valley, between Burg-Reuland and Ouren. You live only 100 meters from the German border and 3 km from the border with Luxembourg, so just barely in Belgium. German is spoken in this border triangle, as well as in all the eastern cantons of Belgium, which form the High Fens to the north. Here you can enjoy not only the peace, fresh air and beautiful nature, but also the good food of this area. In the varied surroundings you can walk endlessly and enjoy wonderful wide views and cozy valleys. By car, the cities of Clervaux, Vianden, Diekirch, Monschau and Luxembourg are nice destinations for a day trip. Trier is also definitely worth a visit if you are interested in historic marketplaces or want to visit the Porta Nigra, an almost completely preserved Roman city gate. In your accommodation you will find detailed tourist information and brochures and hiking trails. The house is built on a slope, so you will reach the actual living area via a staircase. On this floor is the living room with open kitchen and access to the balcony and terrace. In the living room, an open staircase leads to the second floor with the bedrooms and bathroom. Please note that the bunk beds in one of the bedrooms are not suitable for adults, as they are only 1.90 m long and 0.80 m wide. The cottage is spacious, bright and wonderfully comfortably furnished, including a leather sofa and chairs in the dining area, a large flat-screen TV and Wi-Fi. On the south side of the house you have a lovely balcony where you can enjoy the sun until late in the evening. On the back side there is also a sheltered terrace. In front of the cottage is a beautiful valley with colors that change in every season, which you can fully enjoy from the living room and balcony. The cottage is the ideal place for those who love nature and a relaxed life.
