In winter you can go cross-country skiing in the village and there is even the winter sports area Schwarzer Mann, ten kilometers away, with two ski slopes and drag lift. There is a good restaurant and a village store in the village. In the same street there is an organic farm where you can buy milk. The apartment is almost on the border with Germany, where you can relax on the beach of Lake Kronenburg, fish at the lake near Auw near Prüm, take a walk through the nature reserve Schönecker Schweiz or visit the famous and picturesque town of Monschau.
