You are in a really child-friendly area and the beaches have calm bathing water. In Haderslev you will find an old town center with a cathedral worth seeing. Take a walk through the park in the center. In Aabenraa, in another tranquil town of South Jutland, you can stroll well in the cobbled shopping street and study the typical front doors of the town. Continuing south, you will reach Gråsten, the summer palace of the royal family. Continue on to Sønderborg, beautifully situated on the southwesternmost tip of the island of Alsen and on the Flensburg Fjord, with its cafés and restaurant spreading a particularly cozy ambience. In the city you can also visit the castle and the history center Dybbøl Banke. From there it is also not far to Danfoss Universe, it is located on Als and lets you experience the achievements of natural science up close and in your own body.
