For example, at Knuthenborg Safari Park you can observe the many wild animals up close from your car or visit the pretty town of Maribo and take a trip on the veteran railroad. The nature park "Maribosøerne" with its beautiful nature and rich fauna and flora is a paradise for nature lovers, who can also hear the song of the nowadays rare nightingale here. In Nakskov you can admire a lovingly restored submarine from the former Russian fleet.
