Helsingborg is just a 20-minute boat ride across the Øresund. There you will find, among other things, Northern Europe's largest shopping center, Välä. In Humlebæk, about 10 km from Helsingør, you will find Louisiana, Denmark's leading museum of modern art, with many special exhibitions. In Fredensborg, about 15 km from Helsingør, is the royal family's summer palace, Fredensborg Castle. In Hillerød, about 25 km from Helsingør is the beautiful Frederiksborg Castle. After a 45-minute train ride, you will find yourself in the middle of Copenhagen, with everything your heart desires in terms of activities and entertainment.
