Gekås, the largest outlet center in Scandinavia can be found 18 km away in Ullared, where many do their bulk shopping. Between Älvsered and Ullared runs the 15 km long cycling and hiking trail Pyttebaneleden, among other things the trail passes the river Högvandsån, where you can fish for salmon and sea trout, there also finds the river pearl mussel the right water to thrive.
