Visit with your children the IJzerboomgaard with a nature play area. Take a bike ride along the banks of the river Yser or take a walk through the nature reserve De Blankaart. Let yourself be surprised by the impressive landscape.

Fun excursions for the whole family are De Zonnegloed Animal Park (11 km), the open-air museum Bachten de Kupe (14 km), Plopsaland De Panne (21 km) and theme park and aquapark Bellewaerde (26 km). A visit to the historic cities of Veurne (15 km) and Ypres (22 km) is also recommended. The beautiful city of Ypres is very impressive with sights such as the Gewandhaus, the Menenpoort, the fish market and the In Flanders Fields Museum. With starting point in this vacation home you can also spend a day at the beach, for example in the lively seaside resorts of Koksijde, Nieuwpoort and Oostende.
