There are also many good opportunities for summit hikes in this area. In the centre of Sjusjøen you can walk around Sjusjøvannet, followed by a steaming hot cup of cocoa in one of the restaurants. You will also find shops and restaurants in the centre of Sjusjøen. On colder days, you can warm up afterwards in the house's wood-heated sauna.

For longer excursions, Lillehammer is only half an hour's drive away and offers many cultural experiences and shopping opportunities. A visit to Hunderfossen Family Park or Lilleputthammer offers unforgettable experiences.
