Skaven Strand is wonderfully child-friendly, as well as the harbor is worth a visit. You can drive to either Ringkøbing or Skjern with various restaurants and stores. Drive or bike around Ringkøbing Fjord and visit Bork Vikingehavn, Abelines Gård and Hvide Sande with the fishing house.
