Within the dunes are large shifting sand fields, which are now covered with pine forests. Both in Tönnersa and in the southern parts of the neighboring Gullbranna Reserve, a lush forest grows today that will impress you! Beautiful bathing can also be found at Mellbystrand, especially known for its 12 km long sandy beach. The more adventurous can take a full-day excursion to Halmstad or Båstad.
