A rowing boat is available, go out across a river Visman to a bay in Lake Vänern. In this river and nearby lakes such as Lake Vänern and Skagern you can fish well.

Not far from the house is a nature reserve and also a swimming spot. The town of Krisitnehamn offers most things like shopping, good restaurants and entertainment. The drive to Örebro and Karlstad takes about an hour. A nice day trip is to visit Tivedens National Park. Hiking and biking trails are in the immediate vicinity of the house.
