The cottage is located on a beautiful nature plot two minutes walk from Tisvilde Hegn, which offers many nature experiences for the whole family. You can go walking, running, cycling or use one of the many mountain bike trails. The surroundings of the cottage are versatile and you have short distances to Arresø, the forest and Melby Overdrev. In the house you will also find maps of the surrounding areas with hiking suggestions. Explore the scenic areas with your bikes or on foot and relax in the beautiful nature. In the season it is also possible to pick mushrooms in the silence of the forest.

If you want to go to the beach, you can ride your bike through the forest to some sparsely populated beaches, or you can take the car and choose one of the beaches with lifeguards. If you have children, Liseleje is an obvious destination. There you will find a nature playground, ice cream parlors and mini golf.
