In the immediate vicinity of Oostduinkerke there is plenty to do for the whole family. Take the famous coastal train to other inviting seaside resorts like Koksijde and Ostend. For a day out with your children, you can visit the amusement park Plopsaland De Panne, 9 km away. A visit to the historic towns of Veurne 6 km and Diksmuide 18 km is also worthwhile. The fabulous city of Ypres impresses with sights such as the Gewandhaus, the Menenpoort, the fish market and the In Flanders Fields Museum.
