Every first weekend in September a really big kite festival takes place on the beach, up to 50,000 visitors are expected then. On the island you can also explore well by bike, from February to mid-November you can rent a bike directly at the bike rental. Here you can expect a great nature, beach, forest, Wadden Sea (UNESCO World Heritage), Black Sun - everything will delight you. You can also experience the beautiful nature on the back of a horse. You can go on an oyster safari or catch your dinner in the fishing lake.
