To the north lies the resort of Søndervig and to the south the fishing village of Hvide Sande, both places are not far away. In Søndervig there is a large grocery store, cafes, playgrounds and a small indoor swimming pool. Hvide Sande is a true fishing village and lively in the summer, especially in the harbor.
