In Hvide Sande you can buy fresh fish at the harbor and in the picturesque town of Ringkøbing, about 10 km away, you can store and admire the pretty old houses. Day trips to Legoland, the lion park in Givskud as well as to the Hans Christian Andersen birthplace in Odense as to Århus are possible.
