This area is one of the most beautiful and unspoilt corners of Liguria, a group of five small villages between Portofino and the Cinque Terre with a thousand years of history. Beaches and cliffs overlooking a cobalt blue sea make Framura one of the most beautiful historic villages in Italy. Framura is the right place for those who love walking in the woods: The territory of this small town is criss-crossed by numerous ancient paths that make it a true paradise for trekking lovers. Cycling enthusiasts should not miss the "Mare e Monti" cycle path that runs from Framura to Levanto through Bonassola: 6 km of flat and easy terrain along the old railway line with spectacular sea views. The Cinque Terre, Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manorola and Riomaggiore have been part of a national park, a marine reserve since 1999 and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997.
