Super hiking area and rich animal life in the area. You can pick berries and mushrooms in abundance right at the house. Well suited for several families. Cross-country skis for rent at Hillestad Galleri. Walk along the central trail, which passes the Elvarheim Museum, where you can see exhibitions about hunting & trapping, collections of knives and stuffed animals, and a violin-making workshop. To the house N34868 is 50 m. 01.11.-30.04.: Either tires with spikes or snow chains necessary.
