For excursions we recommend Gränna, Visingsö, High Chaparral, Store Mosse and Astrid Lindgrens Värld. Gothenburg is also within easy reach, with the Liseberg amusement park, Universeum's rainforest, the Haga district and boats waiting in the harbor to take you to the archipelago.
